Why do we recommend stopping here?

A charming little village steeped in history, this was one of a chain of military outposts which protected the Saône valley from invaders in the middle ages.

What is there to see?

The dominant feature is the fortified château and its tower, parts of which date from the 12th century. The church also houses some ancient relics.

What can I visit?

The chateau can be visited on Saturdays and Sundays , from 1000h to 1200h and 1400h to 1800h.
